Aaron, James, Lhamo and the group return to Western Europe, still burdened with the loss of Helena. Meanwhile, Rachel attempts to find shelter for Master Rorik as his illness becomes worse. She has Leora lead Master of the Red Robes to the safety of her midwife’s home, which provides cover for Rachel to return and inspect her own homestead for spies. At the same time, Pierre joins forces with the Red Banner Gang to track down and eliminate Lhamo.
